V3601 Taken With V2355

I have 2 pills that I want to take at the same time. One is the v3601 and the other is v2355. Is it harmful to mix the two?

You shouldn't take both, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so.

These are both made by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list the one with the 3601 marking as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The one with the 2355 on it contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 50mgs of Butalbital and 40mgs of Caffeine.

Thus, you could end up taking too much Acetaminophen, which risks fatal overdose toxicity, plus the Hydrocodone and Caffeine counteract each other, since the first is essentially a downer and the other a stimulant, so it could be a dangerous mix.

The FSA warns that Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation.

Side effects for the other medication may possibly include nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation, insomnia and nervousness.
