I would like to know also how the Xanax tablets imprinted with V 2 0 9 0 are supposed to be taken and which route is more effective. I don't have insurance and and am not prescribed as much as I should be, so this matters to me so that I can get the full effect from the little amount I do get prescribed.

I don't know anything about their authenticity and the differences you've noticed, since I do not know your source. Did you try asking the person you obtained them from?
As to how to take them, none of the Xanax/Alprazolam tablets are meant to be taken any other way than swallowed whole, with a full 8 ounce glass of water.
This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
Have you talked to your doctor about adjusting your dosage or the prescribed amount?
