The reported ingredient in this, from Chile, is Glucosamine, it is not a prescription drug, but a dietary supplement that it touted to help people with joint problems, such as arthritis.

Since it is a supplement, it is not proven to work and actually help anything!

Artridol does NOT contain glucosamine - unless the labs in Chile are cooking up their own special home brew. Artridol gel contains Betamethasone and Indometacine. Details available from Wikipedia. I live in Mexico and take Artridol capsules for relief from bouts with severe arthritic pain. The capsules contain Indometacine - a non steroid pain reliever; Metocarbamol, and Betamethasone. Not for casual use or treatment of minor pain. If used over prolonged period, rapid cessation of the medication can have severe results. All this info is available elsewhere on the Net.
