how act oxerute cream in anal rectum. i operated fissure but skin is not joint in sphicnter due to improper dressing according to doctor he prescribed oxerute cream and antibiotic.is cream is useful or not?have u any suggestion plz suggest me

The only information I've come across regarding Oxerute cream, is in regards to the two main ingredients Troxerutin and Calcium Dobesilate. Those ingredients are bioflavanoids that help with capillary health.

Below is some individual information about the other ingredients you mentioned:

Lignocaine (also known as Lidocaine): This ingredient is a common local anesthetic and antiarrhythmic drug. Lidocaine is used topically to relieve itching, burning and pain from skin inflammations, injected as a dental anesthetic or as a local anesthetic for minor surgery.

Hydrocortisone: The topical variety of Hydrocortisone is used to help relieve redness, itching, swelling, or other discomfort caused by skin conditions.

Zink oxide: The topical variety of zinc oxide is used to help diminish skin irritations. Zinc oxide rectal suppositories may help treat burning, itching and discomfort from hemorrhoids or anal fissures.

Phenylephrine: This ingredient is used primarily as a decongestant, as an agent to dilate the pupil, and to increase blood pressure. Phenylephrine is marketed as a substitute for the decongestant pseudoephedrine, though clinical studies differ regarding phenylephrine's effectiveness in this role. Phenylephrine is also used as a vasoconstrictor in some suppository formulations. A vasoconstrictor helps with narrowing of the blood vessels- resulting from contraction of the muscular wall of the vessels. A suppository is a drug delivery system that is inserted into the rectum. Suppositories should not be used in those trying to treat an anal fissure.

I believe that the combination of all of these ingredients are meant to aid in healing and soothing the affected area to provide relief. It's impossible to know for sure if this cream will help you since medications do effect everyone differently. If I can recommend anything, it would be to include more fiber in your diet to make bowel movements easier to pass. Also, bathing in a tub filled with a few inches of warm water (sitz bath is more ideal) for 20 minutes 2 or 3 times a day should aid in soothing the torn tissue and help relax the internal anal sphincter.

Why he has not recommended these RX to me? The pain is like no other and is completely debilitating. Most of the time Dr just sends you away in pain because they have no idea what to do.
