My husband started taking 10 mg. of Brintellix as a sample for a sudden case of severe depression after a 2 week withdrawal from Zoloft. Now he is like a Zombie, sleeping, walking like an old man, and falling down with little energy to even get up.

He should inform his doctor as it sounds like this may not be the right medication for him to take.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and dry mouth.

Is there anything else I can help with?
