Unidentified Round Red Pill

the pill has black writing on one side that says CYS7EX and that is it. it is round like a circle and red

This is an over the counter product called Cystex, it is claimed to help with the pain associated with urinary tract infections and to prevent their reoccurring. It contains 162.5mgs of Sodium Salicylate and 162mgs of Methenamine.

The Sodium Salicylate is a mild analgesic and the Methenamine is an antibacterial.

Side effects may include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and loss of appetite.
