Unidentified Pills Found In A Bottle Of Oxycontin

i had found some oxycontin leftover from my stepmother in-law's bout with cancer, and in a smaller bottle that was in with them. in this bottle i found a bunch of small white round pills, about 1/4 of an inch in diameter. on one side is the number 25, on the other is an uppercase I, slanted slightly. i don't know what these pills are but would love some imput!

THAT IS NOT OXYCONTIN. A WHITE OXY IS SMALL ROUND ON ONE SIDE IS A OC, OTHER SIDE IS A 10 FOR MILLIGRAMS. PINK ONE, OC ON ONE SIDE, OTHER SIDE A 20, FOR 20 MILLIGRAMS. THEN THEY SKIP TO 40mg.ETC. ETC. THEY ARE MADE BY PURDUE PHARM. I CHECKED MY PDR BUT HAD NO LUCK FINDING YOUR PILL SO I CANNOT SAY. GOOD LUCK.

And Sheri is incorrect, what she is talking about are just the name brand Oxy's, there have been generics available since March of 2004. There are many different sizes, colors, shapes, and imprints now of Oxycodone depending on the manufacturer and the dosages.

I 25 however, is NOT a generic Oxy imprint. This is Imitrex 25mgs.

I found 4 little round golden coated tablets marked 158 on them in an Advil bottle at my home (I think these were my husband's). Can you identify what these may have been?

could this be an oxy? it is in the same size and shape as an oxy 20mg(brand) but this pill is sorta pastel/lime green-ish with a 67
on one side and an SL on the other?

This is a rather old pill, no longer manufactured as that company was purchased by another pharmaceutical manufacturer.

However, no, IT IS NOT OXY!

This is Amitriptyline 25mgs, a generic for the antidepressant Elavil.

As to the pills marked 158, I cannot find anything on those, however, it could be an over the counter product. They are not under the same regulations for imprints that pharmaceuticals are, and there are just so many of them, that no one can keep a coprehensive database on them. Sorry.

For the 33 33, nothing under that either, are you sure that was the imprint? Or was this a typo? There are pills under 93 33!

My mother just passed away and in her little square vacation pill box there was 2 pills. One was a round blue pill with a V through it and I know she took valiums, HOWEVER, the other was a small round blue pill, one side was blank, the other side a line down the middle with the letter A on top of line, the number 215 on bottom and she did take pain pills. Any ideas? Oxy something, I assume.

I was going through things and found a botle of oxycontin and in it was a bag with two white pills they have an M with a square around it and a 3 on the other side is this a form of oxycontin?

phill, your pill is 300mgs of Acetaminophen and 30mgs of Codeine, so no, not Oxy. But a very strong narcotic nontheless, it is made by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals.

Actually, codeine is not considered to be that strong of a narcotic anymore. They are trying to change it from a schedule III to a schedule IV.

Paula, actually it is supposed to e I58. This is actually generic ibuprofen 200mg. generic for Motrin or Advil.

I agree with zippsygoddess on the 33 33. The pills would have to be 33 93. All other characteristics matches.

THOSE PILLS WITH A M AND A 3 ON THE OTHER SIDE ARE JUST TYLENOL 3'S. THEY ARE A WEAK PAIN KILLER, MUCH WEAKER THEN PERCS OR OXYS

I guarantee it is an Imitrex 25 mg. It is for migrane headaches... They are not for a buzz that's for sure...this is something you only take if you are prescribed because they have some odd side effects lol...

I believe they are 25mg Imitrex. I can't guarantee it, but that's my guess. I hope I was of some help.

the pills that have the 33 and are egg shaped are generic oxycontin they dont make those anymore but are still available in some places just people selling off whats left of them the white ones are 10mg, pink 20mg, weird orange 40mg, weird green 80mg hope that helps someone
