i have a prescription for dilaudid (generic) 8 mg for a stage 4 cancer victim. i have called about 25 drug stores & nobody has it in stock! it's friday evening & i don't know what else to do. this poor guy is going to suffer all weekend until i can find his dilaudid. can anyone advise me on what to do? HELP!!

I got kindney stones on both sides.but my left side is blocked.the doctor gave me some medicine meporgan forte,and nobody has it in stock.do you know where i can get it filled ?i live in newport,tennesse.please help

Kakin, the primary problem here is that you are calling the pharmacies.

When you call, they have no way of knowing if you are actually a customer looking for a medication that you need filled or if you are someone who is going to come in and rob them if they say they have the medication in stock.

This is a very potent narcotic and due to so much abuse and diversion, the pharmacies must be very, very cautious.

Unfortunately, this results in them having to tell random people that call that they do not carry controlled substances or do not have them in stock, to try to protect their employees and prevent a robbery.

If you really want to find the medication, you will have to actually go to the pharmacies, with the prescription in hand and then find out if they have it. At that point, they will give you an accurate answer.

i was taking 6-8 mg dalaudids a day or 180 a month for the past three years and have finally weaned my self completely off those pills which was the hardest thing i have ever done. the 24 hour walgreens and cvs in conroe, tx. carries them.
