No, all doctors must be very picky and careful about prescribing, now. If they are thought to be prescribing improperly, they can lose their license to practice medicine and face jail time.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
And as to having it prescribe, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year.
