Tussionex contains Chlorpheniramine and Hydrocodone.

Is your dosage listed on the packaging?

From the information I am finding, the regular, adult formulation contains 8mgs of Chlorpheniramine and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, per teaspoon.

The Hydrocodone is a narcotic, so you may experience side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation.

I thought tussionex had codine in it. Is hydrocodone the same thing only the generic for it? and is there any tylenon in plain tussionex thanks

my doctor give to me this TUSSIONEX for my cough. He said i have a virus and virus cause a "little" bronchitis, i have aches in my body and temperature of 100.1. he put me in antibiotic and one aerosol "xopenex HFA (levalbuterol tartrate) ..
