need usual dosages of tussionex, am transcriptionist and cannot understand the dosage he is dictating.
Hi Silvergale,
According to EmedTV.com, If you are using Tussionex to suppress a cough or other upper respiratory symptoms caused by allergies or the common cold, the typical recommended dose is one teaspoonful every 12 hours. However, the Tussionex dosage is lower for children ages 6 to 11, as well as for elderly people, who may be more sensitive to the medication. The dosage also depends on other medications you are currently taking.
You can learn more about this drug on the page for Tussionex Details
Please post back if you have any more questions, I hope this info helps!
