Trouble Swallowing With Morphine Sulfate E 15 Mg Er Dark Blue Pill

I've be taking a larger amount 30 mg for approx a week or so and i am having more trouble swallowing than usually and is quite painful. I have been on morphine 15 mg twice a day for about 2 weeks before that. Can you help me.I have had trouble with my throat before but not this bad.

Hi there. I'm not sure if you're aware of this but Morphine comes in a liquid form, as well. You may want to look into that form of Morphine if your swallowing becomes any worse.....

Is your throat really dry?

Narcotics can cause dry mouth and that can sometimes create trouble swallowing, since the esophagus needs to be lubricated to swallow properly.
