Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream 0.1%

perscibed for an itchy- allergic reaction to a new tattoo. The tattoo was NOT infected.I am trying to figure out what exactly is in this cream and if it could mess up my tattoo , thanks!

I have red spots on my skin: 1/8 inch to 4 inches diameter.

I have a dark red place on my leg starting about 4 inches above my ankle and extending up about 6 inches.I have treating it with Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment USP 0.1% for about 3 weeks and it seems to be improving slightly.I wanted to know if there was something better or if I should continue the present treatment?
