Sally is my daughter and is taking this for high blood pressure. She is experiencing weight gain, dizziness, headaches, and is very lethargic.

Those aren't common side effects for these medications, I suggest she speak to her doctor, there are other drugs available that she should be able to use without such nasty effects.
