I started tri sprintec back in May. At the beginning of July I stopped taking them for two months and then started again a few weeks ago. I remembered my doctor saying to start the Sunday after your next period. So after my next period, which ended on a Sunday. I started. A few days later I started a second period. This one heavier than normal. And it has been going on for five days now. I'm wondering if this is just because I started and stopped? Or should I be worried.

They should actually be started the first day of your period, regardless of what day that is, but regardless…
Irregular bleeding can be normal, because your body hasn't really had a chance to adjust to the hormones, yet. Especially since you took them for a couple months, then stopped. But if it continues, or gets heavier, you should have your doctor check things out to be sure.
