I had my daughter Nov 7 2015 and I started birth control on wed DEC. 6th but I always took it a different times I had my period that month around mid month and this month Jan 2016 I haven't had my period I took a pregnancy test and it said it was negative. I'm worried I might be pregnant which I don't want to be right now my daughter only being 2 months and half but anyway since Friday Jan 22 I had some pinkish spotting for like 3 days but still haven't gotten my period. tomorrow Jan 27 I will start my white pills I'm on 28 pack tri-sprintec. Will I get my period by taking white period so.done help I'm extremely worried :'(

Thank u know hopefully I do start my period with the white pills just took my first one today!! Cause I don't want to be pregnant to early for that!!

Hello, Rosies! How are you?

If the result was negative, then it's very doubtful that you're pregnant.

It is normal not to get your period, until the last week of pills, that's when you're supposed to get it, though it can be irregular for the first 3 months, or so, while your body is getting used to the medication.

The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms.

If you're very concerned, then you should consult your doctor.
