Is it safe for a recovering addict to use Tripiline?

It is just an antidepressant and they are often used by those in recovery, because withdraw and recover can cause some severe emotional issues and mood swings.

Was it prescribed by the person's doctor? That is the only time they should be taking it, especially in this type of case.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It was prescribed by a medical practitioner, but not for addiction recovery, was for a bladder condition and I was concerned that it could trigger drug use. However, time has gone by and all is ok, thank goodness for that.
