Trazadone Natural Replacement

Does anyone know anything I can take OTC that works in the way trazadone 50 mg does? Ambien never helped and all the other Rx for sleep....I do also know this is an antidepressant. I just kicked methadone after some years so my Rx ran out early. Haven't been sleeping at all...thanks ??

Unfortunately, no there isn't an OTC medication that will work like it does, that's why they are OTC and these others require prescriptions.

The FDA warns that most of these carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, mood changes, and sedation.

There are some medications available OTC to help with insomnia, have you tried any of them? Are you on any other medications?

Hey, possibly helpful, I've used Valerian Root as an herbal remedy.. I had some success before I got sucked into Trazadone/Ambien land.
