Tramadol With Oxy For Break Through Pain

Is it ok to take 20 mg of oxy for breakthrough pain while on a daily regimen of tramadol?

Doubling up on opiates can cause more sedation than usual, which could be too much for some people and may result in overdose, as reported by the FDA.

These medications also carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects that may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
