Hi I just got a bottle of tramadol 100 mg Mexican brand capsules I want to know what's the difference between the pill and the capsule of the same mediction and dose I've always got the pills but this time I got capsules is one IR, and one ER? It doesn't say

Without a lab analysis there's really no honest way to identify something that doesn't carry an imprint. For that reason alone I can't provide you with a picture of a white oval pill and even remotely suggest that it could be tramadol. Secondly, if your tramadol pill and prescription bottle are not properly labeled, then that tells me they are counterfeit (and could literally contain anything from A to Z). Going through a doctor and licensed pharmacy is the best approach to avoiding such discrepancies.

The difference between a pill and a capsule of the same medication could mean that one has different binders and fillers. Also, the IR stands for "immediate release", while ER stands for "extended release". But if neither pill carries an appropriate marking for identification then your pills may very well be counterfeit too. For your own safety, I'd recommend taking the tablets into a local pharmacy for evaluation and discarding what can't be identified. Next time around, please be sure to make an appointment with your doctor for a valid prescription to make certain you get exactly what you pay for.
