Tramadol After August 18?? (Top voted first)

Hearing lots of places that the people who order tramadol via internet will no longer be able to. I live in a town with uptight doctors who charge outrageous prices plus insist on doing constant testing before writing a prescription. If true what are my option after Aug 18

Everyone who is upset over Tramadol not being able to be sold online in the U.S. maybe this will make you feel like your not the only ones. I am 100% honest in what about about to say because it is rather ridiculous. I've been taking Tramadol now for about 7 years and about 40 pills a day, yes I said 40! So needless to say it's going to be tough to get off of but thankfully I do have 2 different companies that will still send me the Tramadol even after August 18th, it is just $20 more than usual. It's about $149 for 180 pills 50mg. Whats weird is I have no earthly idea who they are. They just been calling me for years and all they say when I pick up is, hello you want refill tramadol and I say yes then they say ok that will be $149 and it will be there within 3 days thank you and goodbye then they hang up..lol

Tramadol will become a Controlled Substancde Schedule IV in Aug. But, Schedule IV is not the same as Schedule III or Schedule II. Schedule IV drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with a low potential for abuse and low risk of dependence. I can't see a reason why a dr wouldn't prescribe it for a patient if they has legimate medical need for it. Schedule III drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with a moderate to low potential for physical and psychological dependence. Schedule II drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with a high potential for abuse, less abuse potential than Schedule I drugs, with use potentially leading to severe psychological or physical dependence. These drugs are also considered dangerous.

Its a Schedule IV now which is the lowest controlled it can be and I only import for personal use. Ive read and re-read the FDA legislation and I think we still have the right to do this. I am not a drug dealer or a law breaker, I just refuse to pay so much for my medication.

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to clarify WHY we usually don't allow sites which sell products to be named in our discussion threads. This is because we allow our users to post messages on our site without verifying who they are, and as a result, we have no way of knowing if somebody who actually works for one of these sites is coming on our discussion threads and posing as an "individual" to try and promote their service. There are many scammers and spammers out there so we have to take that stance because we do not want our users to get ripped off (or worse yet, shipped counterfeit medications which could pose a health risk). We hope this makes sense and wish you all good health!

People.....I just want to put this info out there for ANYONE who buys off the internet. JUST BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY ARE IN THE US DOES NOT MEAN THEIR MEDS ARE US MADE. Even legit pharmaceutical companies are like this. Actavis, for example, who bought out Watson, has companies in the US but they STILL use products from India to make their meds. It is the same with Sun Pharmaceuticals. So, because that is legal for them to do according to the FDA, it is also a probable chance you are getting foreign meds from a U.S. "pharmacy" when buying TRAMADOL. Actually, when buying any med....especially one that doesn't require a prescription. Just keep this in mind. I have known/read of many people being scammed out of many $ doing this......buying from SO CALLED legit pharmacies. One person even said they were told when buying hydrocodone that a refillable script would be in their package written by an actual MD. Well, the spent the money, received NO product and, of course, received no script. This "pharmacy" had 2 locations. California and Florida. Come to find out, the money was sent to, I believe, Dehli India or somewhere like that! I told my friend he learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson!

I just thought I would let you all know some things I have found out and KNOW it's a fact! Be careful. Also, if a med is available in the US ONLY with an rx, it IS illegal to obtain it from a country even if that country sells those meds over the counter. Best of luck to everyone....I understand financial hardships, I really do....but, there HAS to be a way for you to be able to see a doctor. I didn't say that hasn't its own challenges but you will have more than financial hardships if you are caught buying illegally....which I know you all know that. I know what desperation feels like so I DO understand.....BUT, are the risks worth the price? Just please be careful! And not only BC of risks legally, but health risks as well. Concrete pills have been circulating and actually killed someone recently! Over half the pill was made from concrete....no idea what the other half was but I do know it had no active ingredients in it! This is a common practice!

i wish i had an answer for you, i have been using it for 3 years, more as a anti-depressant. I take 200 mg a day and feel good, certainly not intoxicated. This decision by FDA is ridiculous. Tramadol is not in the same class as Percs and Roxys etc. Unbelievable. I can go to Dr but i will be spending mad $ on their BS. Prices in the international market will now be inflated as well. The market is risky unless you know credible sources.

Mom, please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing! I am terrified of the withdrawl! I made an appointment with a suboxone dr. The appointment is for next Wednesday. I have read a lot about it and most of it was very good. I will let you know how it goes.
