Tramadol Don't Be Fooled On The Power Of Tramadol.

Don't be fooled thinking it's not the usual pain killers you hear a vicodine, percocet etc. I was on tramadol for 6 yrs 8 pills @ 50 mg a day. Then got pregnant with my son and I weaned myself off of them for my child health. It was one of the worst things I've ever gone through. I felt like I was coming off of oxycodone all over again. When I was first put on them I was told by my doctor that they were none addictive and I wld be fine to rake. As I sd to her I didn't want to go through withdrawals again she assured me that they were not in the same class of drugs as vicodon etc. As of Feb 2015 tramadol is now listed as a narcotic. Just be aware and read all your facts before u start any new meds. Bcse I'm sure I'm not the only person who gets that doctor who gives you everything the first year of you being in her care then tries to cut you off cold turkey bcse she's all done writing scripts for you. My advice if you really don't need pain meds don't start it creates a lif e time of hell and seeking for pills. I wldnt wish that on my worst enemy. It's HELL!!! These doctors she be unlicensed it isn't the so called junky that got where they are without the physicians intro to these meds it would haven't happened in the first place.

I am very sorry about what you've been through, but do thank you of posting this warning for others.

And yes, Tramadol has surprised a lot of people, including many doctors.

When trying to create it, they were intending to take all the best features of an opiate, such as the pain killing properties, but remove the side effects and habit forming potential. However, it didn't work that way and they ended up creating a weak opiate analgesic that still causes all the same side effects and can be just as habit forming as all the others.

Its typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, can possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
