Hi Dot,
Based on my research, Tramadol can be a feasible treatment option for pain associated with toothaches.
Although certain over-the-counter meds such as ibuprofen are usually considered first line treatment options, it seems to be quite common for dentists to prescribe Tramadol in and of itself, or in combination with something like ibuprofen for serious tooth pain.
You may also want to talk with your doctor or dentist about using an antibiotic (e.g. clove essential oil) to help fight the infection as well.
I hope this helps!
