Tonsillitis And Thyroid
UpdatedHi, i got tonsillitis so im on calvepen 666mg tablets. Is it ok to use them if i have a thyroid disorder?

This is an antibiotic that is used to eradicate infectious bacteria, so yes, you can take it, as long as you aren't allergic to it and your doctor has instructed you to do so.
As a matter of fact, you would be in far more danger, if you let an infection continue out of control, because that could be life threatening, so taking it would be the better option.
The U.S. FDA lists its side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
