Tingling Tongue On Flexeril

Has anyone else had a slightly tingling tongue from taking Fexeril? I just cut my 10mg in half for my first dose.

Can you be more specific as to what you mean by tingling?

The FDA lists the typical side effects for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.

Are you on any other medications?

I wanted to take half a pill of 10mg flexaril (cyclobenzaprine)for my back pain. 10mg makes me to tired the next day sometimes. But it made my tongue numb and a little of my lip numb. I guess I should have cut it in half and then take it never expected this. I have been taking this medicine on and off for years. Never had any bad side effects. It just makes me sleepy. But it just feels so strange to feel numbness in my mouth and no mayo clinic write up or any info about it.
