Sir, I have been using Thyronorm 50mcg for 4 weeks. Before that My T3 =95; T4=7.2 and TSH was 21.26uiU/ml. Dr. asked me to check the levels after 8 weeks. As per ur answer it is for every 6 weeks. What to do? I started doing warm up exercises daily. Frequently I am getting pain in my right hand. My age is 61 yrs. Awaiting ur valuable advice.

Normally, the levels are checked every 3 months, on average.
The NIH lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, mood swings, and hair loss.
You should take it, as long as your doctor instructs you to do so.
Are you on any other medications?
