I found in the generic Bystolic, among other chemicals as inactive ingredients Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and at least one artificial color ?! Both of this chemical are well known cncerogen, any explanation for that ?! As soon as possible I’ll replace it.

Hello, Snoopy! How are you?

While some of the inactive ingredients may be known to be carcinogens, if you read the research studies, that's usually if someone is ingesting very high amounts for a long period of time.

However, the amounts in a pill are minuscule and in those amounts, the FDA considers them to be generally safe for long-term use.

This is frequently misunderstood, even when it comes to something such as dogs eating chocolate. A little nibble won't result in a death sentence, they'd have to eat a lot, in most cases, to suffer fatal results. The tests that proved it use concentrated baking chocolate in very large amounts.

The active ingredients in most medications are only therapeutic at specific doses and ingesting more than that could result in overdose toxicity that may be fatal.

The FDA classifies Bystolic as a beta blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increase urination and hypotension.

Is there anything else I can help with?
