Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20% and they do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand, so sometimes you can end up with one that's a bit stronger and may cause more side effects than the prior one that you were taking, which could explain the nausea.
The FDA warns that this medication may be habit forming and could cause other side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
Additionally, the inactive ingredients can be completely different, so that may also cause a problem for some people.
Is there anything else I can help with?
