Teva Gluten Amphetamine Salts 10mg Tab
UpdatedI recently started taking generic Adderall (Amphetamine Salts 10 mg manufactured by Teva) since that's all my insurance company will pay for. But I have severe gluten intolerance and have been having a lot of stomach issues recently and am wondering if there's gluten in any of the fillers. The pills are blue, oval shaped tablet imprinted with a B 972 on the front and 1 0 on the back. Does anyone know if there are any gluten ingredients used? THANK YOU!

Hello, Allison! How are you?
One of the inactive ingredients in this tablet is corn starch, thus yes, if it's not pure, there is a chance it could contain gluten. Many facilities that produce corn starch are shared and easily become contaminated with gluten.
Is there anything else I can help with?
Couple months ago, I was diagnosed ADHD. Started taking substitute of aderall-amphetmine salts. about a month into taking the med, i noticed my stomach feeling weird. Told the Dr. He blamed Gabapentins I had took during the third week while on generic aderall. I didn't believe that, I had been taking the Gaba's for almost two years but had tapered off to a as needed basis vs twice a day every day. I had gone almost two months without the Gaba's. Fine. Self study. Stopped taking everything. Vitamins, generic aderall, Gaba's, even my tynol for arthritis (i started taking this vs so many Gaba's. Medicine free. Took about week and half for my stomach to feel normal. Back to the generic aderall, starting like I did with week one. Building up to 3) 10mg per day, in five hour increments. Didn't make it to day three. My stomach weirdness came back twice as bad. Stopped that. Started my research on the internet. I have noticed over the past two decades, I am lactosed. It's not bad. Stay away from whole milk, ice creams that are whole milk based. I can eat cheese "in moderations". Puddings made with milk, is a no-no. Mildly lactosed. I found earlier today, wished I printed it to have on hand, an inactive ingredient in the generic is Lactose Monohydrate. I'm currently trying to find something that fully lists absolutely all active and inactive ingredients for these type drugs so I can further discuss with my Dr. I haven't checked into seeing if gluten could possibly be a factor for me or not. It will benefit me now to find out for sure.
I take super high dose. I have the 30mg by m'ckrud brand. They are worthless as near as i can tell. I believe all generic for adderall should be analyized much more than they are currently. It is a shame how drug companies abuse creating this type of drug.i wish all those in power over processing were forced to use generics like the rest of uss.
I’m having the same problem. I thought it was other foods causing issues but it’s the adderall.
