I bought an antibiotic Terramicina Oxitetraciclina in Mexico thinking they gave me ointment for my dogs itchy ears. Can it be used for ears?

The active ingredient in this is Oxytetracycline, this is a broad spectrum antibiotic used to treat many different types of infections.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and photo-sensitivity.
