Temazepam 30 Mg

I have trouble sleeping and staying a sleep. Took a temazepam 30mg and still wide awake 2 hours later. Why?

There are a couple of possible reasons why…

The first is that not every medication works for everyone that takes it, that's why there are usually several different medications available in any given therapeutic class.

The next could be due to tolerance, if you've been taking this one regularly for a long period of time. Sometimes our bodies just get used to a certain dosage of a certain medication and it begins to lose its effectiveness.

This is a benzodiazepine class medication, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
