Telpress H( 40 Mg)

My mother is a patient of schizophrenia, Hypothyroidism n very recently high B.P of 130/90.she is being given the above mentioned tablet.I wanted to know the side effects of the same as she's not had her bowel movements fr the past 6 days n feels extremely weak n giddy at times.

This contains Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, a combination medication commonly used to help lower high blood pressure.

Constipation is not usually a side effect, has she spoken to her doctor about it?

Common things she may experience include that weakness and giddiness that you mentioned, as well as nausea and headache.
