These medications are used to help lower blood pressure and reduce stress on the heart, so it doesn't have to work so hard. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

I am sorry, however, that I do not have prices to quite you. Have you checked locally to ask how much they cost?
