Teens And Valuim

I have a granddaughter and her parents think she may be using Valium. She is 16 and she decided to stay in bed and not go to school... Can anything be done?

They should take her to a doctor and inform him of their suspicious.

Valium is a benzodiazepine, so they can check for it.

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
