That pill is Immediate Action Mucus Relief. It's 400mg of Guaifenesin (an expectorant), so it says on the bottle. Picked it up in a grocery store in Arizona.

My 11 year old son found this in his bottle of omeprezole that came to us sealed from the factory. It is a little frightning that this ended up in his bottle. Wha could have happened had he taken it? I am very concerned.

This is exactly what was posted by Jim, 400mgs of Guaifenesin, used to help relieve cold symptoms, such as cough and congestion.

It is available over the counter, so my guess is the company makes and packages more than one type of OTC medication, which is very common and this one ended up in the wrong bottle by mistake.

Unless he is allergic to it, the worst that would have happened is maybe some nausea and drowsiness.

I suggest contacting the manufacturer to let them know about the error.
