Tb And Conception

i am taking myrin p from 4 months as i was diagnosed with tb, now i want to get pregnant but want to know is it safe getting pregnant while taking myrin p

You actually shouldn't try to get pregnant, until you are certain that the Tuberculosis has been cleared up. It can be dangerous to the fetus and the baby may be born infected.

Have you consulted your doctor about this?

Most of these types of medications also cross the placenta and the breast milk, so they aren't always safe to use while pregnant or breast feeding.

Myrin P contains:

Ethambutol HCl 275 mg, rifampicin 150 mg, INH 75 mg, pyrazinamide 400 mg
