I have just been prescribed a 10mg dse daily of tapozole. Just wondering what peoples experiences are on tha drug

My doc put me on 20mg of tapazole per day i only took it for 2 months now my levels dropped so low,and i gained 10pound in one week.my doc called me, to stop taking it, Is this normal for hyperthyroid levels to drop so low in this short time?.And will i lose the weight.don't understand how it all works.Anyone out there had the same happen to them.
