Tapering The Prednisone

I went down from 30mg of prednisone to 20mg for a month. My doctor is tapering off the prednisone by 10mg each month. When will I be back to normal?

Most likely, a few weeks after you have finally completely stopped taking it.

The typical side effects, according to the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, irritability, nervousness, and insomnia.

How are you feeling, now?

Why were you taking it for so long?

Are you on any other medications?
