Tapenadol And Methodone

I'm on 130mil of methadone a day but got a couple 75mil tapenadols from a friend bc in 2 weeks had 6 teeth pulled and dentist only gave me 5mil hydros. So I just wanted to kno if I took them together I wouldn't go into withdraw. Please answer asap.. thanks guys

Hello,

Based on my research, using tapentadol with methadone can increase side effects like dizziness, impaired judgement or thinking, and difficulty concentrating. If you were to take all of these medications together for a considerate amount of time, there is the possibility of becoming dependent on them- so when you stop taking them you may experience some withdrawal symptoms. Everyone's body chemistry is unique though, so it's impossible for me to know how your body will react to the medications for certain.

If the amount of medication your dentist gave you doesn't seem to be enough, the safest thing to do would be to consult him and let him know that it isn't working for you. It's not safe to mix medications without the advice of a medical professional.
