Tamsulosin Cap 0 4 Mg & Tamsulosin Cap 0.4 Zed

Is there a difference between Tamsulosin Cap 0 4 Mg and Tamsulosin cap 0.4 mg ZED? The ZED capsules are smaller and seem less effective.

No, they've just been manufactured by different companies, which is common with generics.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, back pain and blurred vision.

I also noticed that Sandoz Tamsulosin is much less effective. So much less effective, that when I renew the prescription I ask the pharmacist who manufactured the product, if it's Sandoz I look for a pharmacy that has it by Boehringer Ingelheim.
I was told that generics can be manufactured with 20% less active ingredients, which explains it being less effective.
