Taking Tramadol With Subutex
UpdatedI am currently reducing off of subutex. s I am on such a low dose (4.5ml) I was wonderin if I could use tramadol to help with the final reduction. Can I take the two vogether?

Tramadol is an opioid, so the Subutex will likely block it from having any effect. It tends to take a stronger hold on your opiate receptors than the others and prevents them from doing anything.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
