My girlfriend had surgery on her right foot she has pins in her 2nd anD 3rd toes and 3 screwdozen to fix a bunion. They gave her oxcicodon and tramadol can she alternate taking them

While it is always best to follow the advice of one's doctor, that can be done, if necessary and the doctor, or pharmacist doesn't feel there is a reason it isn't safe for her to do so.

The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
