Taking 14mg Subutex Still Have Withdraw Symptoms Why?

Im on 14mg subutex now from 50mg of methadone.its my 7th day and still having w/d .when does it go away going
up to16mg tomorrow hope it gets beter.r

Hello, Rob! How are you doing? I'm sorry that you're miserable.

Methadone is actually notorious for causing withdrawals and being very hard to get off of, even if replaced with something else. That's why many people treated with it for addiction end up on a lifetime maintenance dose and never become totally drug free.

Some people have been successful using Suboxone to leave it behind, but it can still be tough.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

How are you doing on the 16mg dosage?
