Takin Medicine During Prgnancy

hi i am 30 yr s old man, my wife is going to get pregnant first time. we didnt know she become pregnant that time. and she had UTI problems and she took Tab . cotrimosazole bd 5days. after we know she become pregnant dose this medicine affact to the groing baby.

She needs to let her doctor know that she took it, in many cases the risks in early pregnancy are very low, but she needs to inform her doctor, just in case.

Additionally, she should be informed that this medication will not treat a UTI, it only treats fungal infections, such as vaginal yeast infections.
