I am taking DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE it says one pill twice a day for ten days, but what would happen if I took three a day instead l?

This is an antibiotic, so the amount in your body needs to remain consistent for the duration of treatment, in order to eradicate the bacteria. Thus, you should take it twice a day, as prescribed.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
