Take 1 Pill Twice Daily - Amoxicillin
UpdatedIs it safe to take 2 pills in the morning rather than 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon? I tend to forget the afternoon dosage. What are the dangers of taking two pills at once?

Hello, Cindy! How are you?
To properly eradicate infectious bacteria, an antibiotic needs to be maintained at a fairly steady rate in your body for the duration of the time you're taking it, so yes, you do need to take it twice a day, approximately 12 hours apart.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
Do you have a smartphone? If so, most of them have free reminder apps that you can install and set it to nag you to take them.
