Tablet Form Of Fioricet (no Codiene)

I am so sad that this is no longer available in a tablet, but only in capsule form. I usually take 3/4 of a pill and chop it and carry the pieces in a small plastic bag. Why would you take more medication than you need to solve a problem. I see on this blog that several have been chopping the pill in half, and like me this is one of the only resources I have left in medication for migraines. I'm allergic to a lot of medication. If only someone knew how we already suffer, they'd never make it harder for us.

So relieved that I am not alone in my need and want for Fiorinal in the tablet form. The capsules do nothing to relieve the pain and upset stomach of a migraine headache. Fioricet is just as ineffective. Does anyone know if the tablets are available from a Canadian Pharmacy? This has been suggested to me, but I am not computer savvy and don't feel confident enough to try. If anyone can help, please do. We need to stick together to get somebody to manufacture Fiorinal tablets.

Just spent a grueling day trying to track down fiorinal in tablet form. can only use the aspirin - not tylenol, not codeine & can't use the capsules due to allergy to the dyes. Have used for 35+ yrs? (Previous was Sandoz and the generic of that did nothing.) As others I only need to use a portion of pill up to one pill for great effect. That means less money for big Pharma right? Thnk God being post menopausal as they are rarer now...but it is frightening not to b able to have when u need the correct med. Any success with out of country med? I have Irish citizenship so if legal script might b able to get in Europe. Pharmacists & dr no help, No one wants to find out or tell u why not avail or if ever will b. How cruel! How do these people sleep at nite? Told having it compounded would b expensive & out of pocket so not an option. Called 4 pharmacies...told to try "old time" small non-chain pharmacies so that's next. Scored 24 left at a CVS...so keep calling around & maybe you'll find some "leftovers". So sad & cruel that we r at big Pharms mercy with no explanation!
