Tablet For Delay Periods

hi, im 24 yrs old... me and my husband attended a family planning seminar and we taught about the calendar method.. the nurse told us to count 7 days from my first day of mens, she told us that it is safe , counting 12 days more from the 7th day of my mens it is unsafe and the remaining 19 days are safe... we followed her guide i have my period on april 24 and we make our love on may 13 the first day of safe period in the bracket of 19 days but unfortunately i dont have my period now i am expecting it in may 24 ... pls help me

Hi Graciela, in the older days, most woman would use the calendar method. Now a days, not many use it. That's why a lot of women would get pregnant. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but trust me, it's not the most reliable way of preventing pregnancy. I'm sure u learned that it helps u avoid your days of ovulation. Every woman is different and ovulate at different times.( usually the middle of their cycle) but some woman's cycles r off. And sperm can last up to 3 days. The egg usually lasts 24 hours. All it takes is 1 sperm out of millions 2 fertilize the egg. I would wait a week total, then, take a test. But as for me, I wouldn't trust that method . Let me know how u make out. Good Luck!
