Switching From Excluton To Althea

is it okay to directly switch from excluton to althea?its my last pill of excluton yesterday, so today i am starting my althea.Is it okay since i dont have my menstruation yet but i already took my 1st tablet of althea?

Yes, that should be okay, but you should double check with your doctor to be certain. However, that is the way it is normally done, just a smooth straight transition from one oral contraceptive to the next.

Just make sure not to miss any tablets.

However, why haven't you had your period, yet? That would normally be the time that you'd finish a pill pack.

I missed my four days Sophia pills because it is not available in the market. Can i switch to althea? If yes. Should i take two tablets daily until i meet the correct schedule. Please i need instant help.

hi marie...we have same situation. i have consulted my OB and she said that its okay to take althea after exluton. its normal to have missed period while taking exluton; one of its side effects. now, im on my free pill day and wait for my menstruation to come...:D
