I have been on Xarelto 20 mg.for about a month now and I have noticed my feet, ankles and lower legs swell worse. I do have Lymph edema in lower legs though so I have to consider that as well. I use a Lymph edema pump to keep the swelling down. But my legs have been more sore and painful since I have been on Xarelto. I was on Warfarin for years for blood clot history in my lower left leg. What do you think about the swelling?

Yes, as reported by the FDA, Xarelto has been known to cause or worsen edema, in some people that take it. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.
Have you informed you doctor? You may need to switch to a different medication.
